Who hasn't been riding their bicycle to work thinking to themselves "By jeepers, this bike riding stuff is great, I should shed the extra burdons of my auto-mobile and do this everyday!  I could have the freedom that comes with a car-free existence, and finally live the bicycling dream."  Well now is your chance.  The Tour de Fat is looking for a few (eleven, actually) valiant souls ready to make the car-less commitment. 

In every city we stop in this summer-time we will be looking to trade a beautiful Black Sheep commuter, all set up with the rack and fenders you would need to get your commuting done everyday of the year.  All we need in return: your car.  You will sign the title over to your local non-profit on stage at your Tour de Fat, and in doing so, make a real commitment to riding your bicycle, and inspiring others to do the same.  Here's the scoop: make something awesome; a video, two minutes or less, detailing, outlining, celebrating your desire to be car free.  Tell us why (and by why I mean capitol "W" Why) you want to be all-bike. Then, go to our Facebook page, click on "EVENTS", and then on your choice of city, following all that- upload your video...VIOLA!, you're entered.  Not a member of the Facebook? Don't fret, we have a solution for you too; email your awe-inducing video to Zach (my loving and ever so fair-minded boss) at zlevis@newbelgium.com and he will do the rest.
