I know it has been a while since my last post, I'm sorry.  But in my defense things are really getting busy in regards to the upcoming Tour de Fat season.  And speaking of Tour de Fat, let me be the first to welcome the newest member to the carnie crew (Carnies Local); Coleman!  Coleman joins us from a long and storied career at the local Brave New Wheel bicycle shop.  He is starting today and our arms are wide open with welcome-ness.

Next, my shoes.  You ever wondered what kind of toll a years worth of work takes on some shoes?  Well friends, wonder no longer:

my shoes look worn out!

The shoe on the left is one from the pair I have been sporting for the last year, on the right is a shoe from the pair acquired last evening, the difference is remarkable, and the wear-ability, let me tell you, off the the charts.

I would also like to talk about first Friday.  First Friday is the art walk here in the 970 (that is the real awesome way to say Fort Collins), it (obviously) happens the first Friday of the month.  We walk around looking for art (and by "art" I mean free white wine and cheese plates). But this Friday there was a kick-ass photo board.  You know the type, it's a board with a painting on it, and some face holes cut out so people can stand behind it and get a picture taken and it looks like they are doing what ever the painting is doing, it (as you can tell from my description) is totally awesome.  There was one placed on the Oak Street Plaza Friday night and my friend Racheal and I took full advantage.  Right now I would like to share that with you:

good times

Doesn't the time we're having look fun?  It was fun!

And on that note, I'm out.

I love New Belgium beers but

I love New Belgium beers but sadly I can't enjoy them often because I live in Arlington, VA (just outside DC). Some friends told me they saw Fat Tire in North Carolina and I instantly became jealous. Can anyone tell me New Belgium's plan to distribute its products in Virginia/District of Columbia/Maryland and my home state, New Jersey???
