Its Thursday in San Francisco, that means Team Wonderbike Bicycle Ride of Destiny. We are meeting at Speedway Meadow (the site of Saturday's TDF) in Golden Gate Park at 6pm, bring friends, smiles.

Wed, 07/08/2009 - 11:33am — mbussmannHoly smokes, so much fun stuff has happened since last we spoke (figuratively, of course). Lets see, there was the Fourth of July...which was real cool. I went with some friends and loved ones to party where the rain couldn't stop the great cruiser bike racing. It was bracket style, it was fun. I lost in the finals last year, so I really wanted a win in the '09 (I have been training my face off), but alas, I lost in the early heats, the competition was real fierce, not to mention bar-b-que and blue paddle make for lousy teammates. From the world of Tour de Fat - we are now only two shows from the season finale in Austin, TX. Across the western U.S., thousands upon thousands have turned out in feathers, glitter and fedoras for the morning bike parades. Tens of thousands of dollars have been raised for cycling non-profits and certainly a few beers were enjoyed along the way.Read more

This comes to you from the creative (slightly diabolical) mind of our own, Aaron Reid (cue Bad Motorfinger here). We want to use this site to build a more sticky bicycle movement. Right now, we are more than 15,000 bicycle commuters strong. We recently hit 14 million miles pledged to be biked (and not driven) per year. Impressive, to say the least.
