WEEK of 12/30/2013 – 1/3/2014 Concrete Grinding + Site Clearing
Anticipated community impact: 3 of 5 (noise and trucks)
Concrete Grinding: Concrete on site is being excavated and ground to reuse as soil stabilization and in other applications; some of the unusable concrete pieces will be hauled off site.
Site Clearing; To clear the site, usable trees will be salvaged and hauled off site to be mulched.
WEEKS OF 1/6/2014, 1/13/2014 and 1/20/2014 Soil Stabilization + Foundation Preparation
Anticipated community impact: 3 of 5 (trucks and noise)
In order to stabilize soil, holes will be drilled on site and stone will fill the holes and be compacted as foundation preparation. There will be trucks bringing stone to the site, as well as drilling. You will see heavy earth moving equipment on site.

WEEK OF 1/27/2014 Flood Plain Mitigation begins (approximate)
Anticipated Community Impact: 3 of 5 (trucks and noise)
Flood Plain Mitigation: Our earthwork subcontractors will be bringing fill dirt onto the site to raise it above the flood plain-up to 8 feet in some places.
Routing Fill Dirt on Riverside Drive: At our request, the vast majority of earthmoving dump trucks will be using Riverside Drive, though some may have to navigate along Haywood or Amboy Roads at some point in the process.

Weather conditions will impact work efficiency.
Despite seemingly lovely sunny winter days, frozen ground will also impact work schedule.
There may be occasional Saturday work days, though the majority of work will be done Monday through Friday during hours approved by City noise ordinances.
