The construction process is complex and there will be dirt, trucks and noise. We will do our best to anticipate challenges and provide information on this page for the New Belgium site construction process. Thank you, in advance, for your patience.
Normal working hours will be Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Some work on Saturdays will be required and that will also be scheduled 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
SITE UPDATES: April 1-12, 2013
Anticipated Neighborhood Traffic Impact:
Week of April 1-5: None + No work is scheduled for Saturday, April 7
Week of April 8-12: None anticipated as of today, will update as needed.
• Stormwater/Erosion Control silt fence and vehicle tracking gravel at access gates being installed. Trenching equipment, skidsteers and gravel deliveries will be used to install this work.
• Complete Asbestos Abatement in existing buildings.
• Begin deconstruction, salvage, recycling, and demolition of existing structures.
Anticipated Site Work 4/12-19:
• Continued deconstruction, salvage, demolition, and recycling of existing buildings. This work will include mobilization of heavy equipment such as all-terrain forklifts and man lifts. Gas-powered saws and hand tools will be used to perform this work.

City of Asheville Craven Street Improvement Project updates are separate from our site construction and the City will provide their own updates.
