Sponsorship / Donation F.A.Q.
Q: How far in advance do I need to apply for a donation or sponsorship?
A: It takes time to get the beer there. So, start talking to us at least two months to a year prior to your event. For large events, we generally need even more time. We must receive the application 30 days prior to the event.
Q: When can I expect to get a response from New Belgium about my application?
A: You should receive a response within a few weeks of your application.
Q: Why do I need to give you so much information?
A: We try to gather as much info as possible up front. It’s important that your event allows us to showcase what New Belgium is all about. We look for PLAYFUL, UNIQUE, and DELIGHTFUL events. We’re a folly following bunch, and we like to support fellow folly followers.
Q: What type of groups do we generally donate to and sponsor?
A: From brewing beer to building events, we want to do all we can to reduce our footprint. That’s why we partner with like minded organizations. In addition, we’re very interested in events that support environmental non-profits. We are members of 1% For the Planet and hope to drive positive environmental change through our sponsorships. You’ll score brownie points by involving non-profits that are doing the same. Check out their website for more information! www.onepercentfortheplanet.org
We do not fund: At this time we are not accepting applications for team or individual sports, bands, or school and child related functions. We receive so many requests for athletes and bands that there are just too many to chose from. Also we feel that kids, school and beer just don't fit well together.
