Release Notes: Accumulation White IPA is back!

Seasonal winter warmers are kind of like the brandy of the beer world: potently boozy, laced with fruit and spice flavors, and served in a snifter at room temperature. Basically, the kind of drink you enjoy in silence aside a crackling fireplace, preferably while ensconced in a velvet smoking jacket, contemplating the capital demise of your enemies. Cheerio, but that’s not how we roll.

Our winter seasonal Accumulation flips the script on the big, brawny notion of winter beers. It’s a white IPA clocking in at 6.2% ABV and 70s IBUs that bursts with inviting fruity hops and a creamy, wheaty malt backbone. Accumulation’s bright hoppy notes of sweet orange, mango and lemon shimmer against a soft white pour like the brilliant winter sun on sparkling slopes. It’s no secret why this is one of our favorite beers to crack open after a day skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing, preferably with friends while contemplating the night’s plans.

The best news? It’s now officially back for the winter season.

From past experience, here are a few reasons why you should stock up on Accumulation this winter:

  1. The snow’s accumulating outside your door. Is there a more appropriate toasting beer?
  2. All of your friends are geeking out on Mosaic hops, but you have no idea what they’re talking about. What’s up with that? Educate thyself: Accumulation’s dry-hopped with Mosaic for an aromatic burst of tropical fruit. If you like that, then check out Rampant imperial IPA (it’s packed with the stuff).
  3. You forgot to order your annual supply of winter citrus, it’s mid-January, and you desperately miss the taste of orange and grapefruit (the beer’s Amarillo hops can help you with that).
  4. You’re planning to have Mexican for dinner. Accumulation is a master pairing alongside Mexican fare.
  5. It’s an IPA. Everyone loves an IPA. But, even if you typically don’t dig the bitter bite of a hoppy pour, this one’s countering creamy malt bill might just be your cup of tea.
