How to drink through a winter Folly Pack

It’s winter, which means it's a perfect time to crack open a few beers in the warmth of your own home. Don't want to brave the cold and head to the store more than once? We got you covered with our Folly Pack variety pack. But once you've got that box of good beer back home, how exactly should you proceed? Follow this handy guide to drink through our winter Revival Folly Pack (which has our Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, Snow Day Winter Ale, Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, and Rampant Imperial IPA).

Hey, life’s just a series of barely controlled chaotic events strung together for the enjoyment of the cosmos, and we’re just along for the ride. What beer do I want? Just grab me a beer, man! Good thing for you, the Folly Packs are packed with a variety of really awesome beers. So you can keep on floatin’ on without putting too much thought into what you’re drinking.

You’re the kind of person who picks out all the red Skittles first. As for me, I’m a hophead, so I’d likely plow through all the Rampants before realizing what I’d done. But, hey, there's plenty of kick-ass beer left in the box.

Variety is the spice of life, you know? What do you want? One of everything! Well, I dare say Folly Packs are made with you in mind. To achieve the “around the world,” you start with one style of beer (whichever) and then work your way through the other varieties before stopping to consider whether you should make that lap again (there's no shame in continuing tomorrow).

So you don’t want to blow your palate away on the first beer; that’s cool. Let’s hold off on the hoppy offerings until later, while easing the old palate into the Folly Pack. For the Revival Folly Pack, start with a balanced Fat Tire to get the juices flowing, then move to a Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, then the malty hoppy Snow Day, and finish it off with a Ranger and a Rampant.

The second part of our Ben & Jerry's collaboration Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale is the incredible Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream. It's not a surprise that they go really well together. So, we won't hold it against you if you dig through the Folly Pack (or wait to even open it) before you get that ice cream. Oh, and while you're at it, we've got some other awesome Ben & Jerry's pour-over pairing ideas, too. Enjoy!

Cheers to however you drink your Folly — Chris
