No. Because of the amount of people and the heat, pets are not allowed at Tour de Fat. Please don’t misunderstand us, we love dogs. But, we believe, that it is much safer to leave your pets at home on this specific day of the year. How about this, you are getting the treat of beer, why don’t you give your pets a treat and love on them when you get home. Thanks.
Yes. There will be a variety of food options for festival participants. Yum.
Yes. This year we are trying to streamline beer sales so we will not be selling tokens. But, we will honor TDF Wooden tokens that have been purchased in the past for use at beer stations.
Sure! We accept anyone. Costumes are recommended and encouraged. All we ask is that you celebrate the bicycle, dance, have fun, be responsible and you must be over 21 years old to drink beer.
You bet, the Liquid Center will be open until 9pm.

Tour de Fat is a costumed bicycle parade followed by a party at New Belgium Brewing with music, entertainment, contests and games.
The Tour de Fat costumed bicycle parade kicks off at 9:30am. The parade launches from City Park. The parade will loop Mountain Avenue until 11:30am.
New Belgium Brewing will open at 11:00am and the entertainment will begin at noon.
What a great question. The easiest and safest way to get to NBB from the parade on Mountain Ave. is to ride north on Sherwood St. toward The Farm at Lee Martinez Park. At that point take a right on Elm St. and join the Poudre River Trail at the bottom of the hill. Follow the bike trail south until you reach Linden St., make a left and you will see bike parking on the south side of the street. There will be signage along this route to assist you… The parade ends at 11:30am and New Belgium Brewing will open at 11:00am. Remember, Safety is No Accident. Check out this handy map here.
You bet it is. Beer, obviously, is for our 21+ guests. However, there is a variety of food and N/A drink options along with a family zone for kiddos of all ages.
It’s FREE. Yup, a free event. We know that sounds crazy, but it’s true.
The only costs you may incur would be if you decide you want to drink tasty New Belgium beer, have a bite from one of our local food trucks or if you want to support our local bike organizations by buying merchandise or donating to the non-profits.
Well, this is a bicycle festival with beer, so ideally, you’ll ride your bike. There will be tons of bicycle parking in the field across from the brewery at the Southwest corner of Linden and Buckingham. If you must drive your car, there will be parking lot on the west side of Linden Street but you will only be able to access the lot via Linden Center Drive from Vine Street which is North of New Belgium. A limited number of Handicap Parking spaces will be available, follow the directions for rideshare.
• Yes. The safety of festival attendees is of utmost importance. There will be security screening at the entrance to the festival. No outside alcohol is allowed. No weapons allowed, including any firearms, knives, ninja weapons or Chuck Norris-style karate.

This year's theme is "Come as you are".
Yes, but we will not be selling any new tokens. We will honor TDF Wooden tokens that have been purchased in the past for use at beer stations.
We will be continuing all the traditions of Tour de Fat including the costumed bicycle parade, the “Slow Ride” and a Dance Contest for a limited-edition New Belgium Cruiser Bike.
